James Davis has studied New Testament in Zurich, pastored a church, written a dissertation on Communication and Power, fathered four children, and renovated many houses including the one he lives in now. Formerly, he and Eve operate a bed and breakfast and steward 24 acres in the mountains of western North Carolina.  His poetry has previously been published in Avoce: A Journal of Nature Poems,
